Love it. Ease pick up and return. No complications and quick in/out process. Maybe needed to be little more cleaner otherwise all good.
I had a great experience at the Alamo counter in Jacksonville. First, I was in line at Alamo with a person in front of me. An employee at the National desk said I can help you. I said but my reservation is at Alamo? She said we work together so I can take care of you. She was charming and very efficient! I was done in a couple of minutes. I would hire her in a minute to work for us if she was willing to move to Portland!
Very convenient location just across from the terminal. I was given a choice of car and it's almost brand new. No hassle in picking and returning vehicle. Excellent service.
I had an awesome experience! Actually got one of their smaller SUV ( Chevy Trax) which was what I needed. Spacious, comfortable, clean & gas efficient. Customer service was great along with drop-off service being a breeze. I will be using Alamo again for my future rentals.
We paid for a special deal where we paid one price but would get any car from economy on up. The desk person told us we had to have an economy car since they had an overabundance of them at the time. We were instructed to go out to the lot and get in one and drive away. However, when we went out to the lot there were no economy cars there. After we explained our deal and what we had been told a manager came over and told us to take an SUV--which more suited our needs. We were happy, but the desk person wasn't very friendly or helpful--and it was chaos in the lot! We ended up happy with our vehicle, though!
