The empty parking lot and empty restaurant during peak meal hours is a testament to the quality of food here. I have fond memories of Silver Star from a decade ago, but these days Silver Star smells like dirty mop water mixed with sewage and the food backs up the smell.
Great service - friendly host and helpful waitress - but that's hard to not do when there's only one customer in the restaurant.
Excellent attentive waitress. She described the menu items, suggested dishes based on what we said we liked, . . .it was a great time.

Whenever we drive past Jacksonville, we stop by Silver Star so we can order Chinese dim sum. We were glad that they were open since Hurricane Irma had the area without power for almost a week and we were able to eat here on our drive back. Very pleasant staff, good prices, and of course the food!!
This is REAL chinese food at a traditional sit down restaurant. The food is absolutely excellent! I could eat there every day. Very casual dress is fine and they also do take out.
