Went for lunch today. ordered chicken pad thai. When the food came to the table there was a very bad odor to the food immediately. Food looked good but bad rancid smell. something used in the prep was possibly rancid. I tasted the food and it lacked flavor , but taste of something bad lingered in my throat. I think this place may not be using fresh products or they are using old oils that have become rancid. We let server know but she did not seem to understand that the smell was coming from something rancid. Could not eat this food. Someone else posted a bad odor to their food, did not notice this until we had gone and experienced this ourselves.
I ordered Thai tea, Tom Kim, and Panaang Shrimp. The soup was spicy and amazingly flavorful. The tea was okay, but I've had better. The entree was seriously lacking. The shrimp was not fresh. The sauce was too mild and bland, and the veggies were not cooked enough. It felt like they cooked everything individually and then threw it together in a bowl. I've been here before and the food was much better. I'll give them another chance... please tighten up.
Greatest Thai I have ever tried! Outstanding service fast, fresh and tasty. I was in awe with the flavor profiles.
