Place is cute! Well decorated and clean. Our server was attentive and helpful. Only complaint was in regards to kitchen. Hushpuppies were inedible, and pork was cut so thick it was uncooked in the middle, switched to dinner rolls and they recooked same slab of pork. After that - - good experience. We will definitely go back!
We've had good experiences here before but today's visit was mediocre at best. The service was extremely poor and lunch wasn't impressive at all. The tables around us seemed to get much better attention while our server was pretty much non-existent. We ordered shrimp & grits and a flounder basket, pretty simple lunch entrees but it took forever to get our food out while other tables seated after us were being served quickly and paying their bill before we even received our entrees. Three small strips of overcooked flounder with fries were served as a lunch special fish basket...for $16?? That's a dinner price!! Lots of other options in the area, will go elsewhere from now on!
Pretty good. Not wow, but above average. Very good selection with more options than basic fried selections. Nice array of side items. Very good adult beverage selection.
This was our second visit. Each of us (3) ordered the same thing as the first time -- fish tacos, blackened shrimp and fried oyster sandwich -- because EACH was the best we've ever had. Cole slaw and big fries also excellent. Service was remarkable. We'll be back!
We come here often and are never disappointed. A diverse menu of some well executed standards and several more unique preparations. All are good and a welcomed departure from the all too common fried seafood joints that surround us. Prices are very reasonable for the types of dishes, their preparation, and portion sizes. The wine list is well-appointed. The draft beer selection covers all the basic styles and they feature our local breweries. They also have liquor and feature some tasty cocktails. The decor and atmosphere are very pleasant. We try to sit on the outdoor, covered deck as often as we can. A very good restaurant in all aspects and our favorite in the area by far.
