Today I ordered "B" ( fried scallops). Took one bite to learn they are not real. Took it apart to find a rolled up something. My cat won't even eat it. Stopped ordering chicken long ago because it has no consistency of chicken. Called to complain. Asked for manager. The male who answered claimed he was manager. His defence was the spelling of Scallops. Skallops. Beware of the food you order and what you actually get. Waisted $4.75 + tax + delivery.Also ordered a shrimp roll, it was greasy and a bit under cooked. The fried vegetable dumplings were good and also undercooked. Have ordered delivery for a couple of years now but it just gets worse and worse. Never again will I be ordering from China Joy on Margaret St, in Downtown Jacksonville. Checked out the restaurant report from the Health Department. It was not good. 7 violations.
All the usual suspects appear on the menu. Food is freshly prepared and served hot. Staff are friendly.
Convenient neighborhood spot for take out Chinese. They have a few tables, but it's mostly take out.
me and my partner both drive out of our way to dine here. The food is excellent and the people are very nice and patient (me and my partner both order slightly complicated). They have even memorized our order! Best Chinese food in Jacksonville
Food is great when they take their time cooking it. Also don't forget to check the dates on the drinks because I bought a drink and it was out dated as every drink of the same kind was out of date and flat.
Horrible they charge premium prices for cheapest Chinese food...their chicken fried rice is yellow rice(cheap kind) and completely tasteless, i have a place by my house that charges the same for premium made fried rice using good chicken. They also yell at you like they don't want you to be there, i felt like a dirty foreigner and all they want from me is my money and once they get my money they want me out of their sight like i was a peasant. Horrible place don't waste your money.
