Everyone in Jacksonville was great, timing was perfect as they communicated every step of the way. Containers we clean and the doors were easy to open. Price was very competitive. Will use them again if needed.

I must say that the best experience in moving was with pack rat. I have to do a long distance move from Jacksonville Florida to Charlotte North Carolina. They were friendly and helpful from start to finish. Gentle reminders reminding me of things that I would have forgotten normally in the rush to move. It felt like talking to family and friends rather than to an automated machine on company. I recommend them constantly which takes a load on pressure off as well as safety financially in your move.
If anyone is looking for a storage company you need to use 1 800 Pack Rat! To say they have excellent customer service would be a huge understatement. They are understandably closed on Sunday, but they agreed to deliver our pod for us anyway and they're not even charging us an extra service fee to do so. Furthermore, we went over our 1 month agreement by just a few days and they didn't charge us anything extra for the additional usage. They made all their drop off and pick up appointments on time as well. You'll be hard pressed to find a company like this... Very impressive customer service indeed!. We used Pack-Rat to pack up the majority of our house because we had a few weeks between closings. Since we were packing up most all of our furniture, we paid for the additional insurance on each pack rat just to be safe. We used professional movers to load everything. The legs on one of our couches were snapped when one of the containers was unloaded. I didn't stress because we had insurance. However, they denied our claim using some blanket clause that insurance doesn't cover damages resulting from "improper packing, normal shifting, or intentional acts." We hired professional movers and oversaw the loading of everything, so I am not sure what more we could have done to ensure everything was properly packed. I tried to follow-up about the claim 5 days ago, but still have not heard back. I shouldn't be surprised, as I had a billing discrepancy as well, which I questioned over a month ago, but still never received a paper copy of my bill or original agreement.
