This was a birthday present for my husband. The salesman that helped us, Darryl Joyner, was very patient and very informative about the chairs as my husband had many questions and I think he tried every chair in the store. Darryl answered all questions, and helped us make a decision. This was a very pleasant and rewarding experience for us.
I have been a Lay-Z-Boy customer for decades. The actual sales experience for this purchase was good. Very pleasant associates. Not pushy at all (Lucy Waldrop). The delivery was a completely different story. When they "call for delivery", it is not even actually in the state. Had to wait an additional week plus for it to actually arrive in Jacksonville. The man that I spoke with at the store on the phone was entirely unhelpful, condescending and arrogant. He alone is enough for me to never, ever return to the store.
We purchased a new leather living room set over Black Friday weekend. The staff we dealt with starting with our sales consultant Andrea Frazier was consistently extremely informative and answered all our questions. Their helpfulness in explaining all the pricing options enabled us to decide on the best solution for our home. Overall their focus on satisfying the customer and working within our budget was outstanding.
