Skinner's swears they don't have an online ordering website. Unfortunately, we discovered this only after ordering an arrangement from "their" website and noticing no floral arrangements arrived at the funeral home. How can this be? How can this company continue to run their business and allow this online site to use their business' name in a scam? So upsetting and frustrating. If I could rate this a negative number or a ZERO I would. Fortunately for them I can only rate it a "1".
Order two arrangement for my daughter 21 birthday. After seeing what I paid for I would have been better off getting flowers from Publix. A big wasted of my money, will not used them ever again
Absolutely stay away from this business! While my situation was completely different from this other review, I cannot believe these people are still in business! We were to receive an arrangement for my wife's surgery on the day of the surgery. We had just learned that we had lost our baby and the surgery was to remove the fetus. I got a call from Skinner's (some woman) about 2 hours prior to the surgery asking if they could deliver the arrangement. I told the woman that we would be leaving in approximately 2 hours to go to the hospital for the surgery when she informed me that there was no way they could get here before then. Guess 2 hours is not enough time to drive 30 minutes to our home? She then asked if they could deliver to the hospital. I explained that this would be an outpatient surgery, so we would not be assigned a room, so I couldn't see how we would get them there. She then asked if they could she deliver them on Friday, two days from today (Thanksgiving was the Thursday, so I understand that). I told her that she needed to check with the customer (my Mom & Dad) about that, since I'm sure their intent was to have it delivered today for the surgery. She then hung up on me and called back a minute later asking if they could drop the flowers off with a neighbor. I told her that we did not have someone to drop the flowers off with and she got frustrated with me again. She then said, "Well, what do you want me to do then?" I said, AGAIN, that she needed to check with her customer and see if they wanted to cancel the order or go with another florist. She then hung up on me again! Trying to be fair, I called her back and explained what the surgery was for and that I thought her attitude was unappropriate given the situation and she said, "We bent over BACKWARDS to get this to you and I have already cancelled the order." I told her I just couldn't believe that she would be this rude given the circumstances. Once again, she hung up on me! Please anyone considering using this business, reconsider! They do not deserve it!
