Don't ever rent from this company ever again.... Suzanne kitchens (realtor) is the worst! Terrible at her job....never apologized for why the house sucked and why it wasn't clean...
The agent, Mike, lied right to our faces. He said all we needed was, good rental history, and good income. We have excellent both. He also said he doesn't care about our credit score. LIE!!! When he called my fiancee to tell us he wasn't going to let us rent the house the first thing he brought up was his credit score. That was the only thing he has a problem with. My fiancee and I have perfect rental history, and he works for a Fortune 500 company. And makes well over the times the rent. But none is that matters if you have a few student loans. Mike is a liar and the company is a joke. Run the other way!!
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY... Long review but worth reading to save your self latter. We just got done renting from harris reality and the lease was through Mike Miller(one of there agents) BEWARE... When we moved in almost 2 years ago the place was a mess(stains on the carpets,holes in ALL the walls, dirty bathrooms, dirty kitchen, ect.). We were relocating from out of town and had all our stuff in a uhal and had no choice but to move in or be homeless until it could be cleaned or find somewhere else. We agreed that we would do the repairs and clean everything ourself because we HAD TO have a place to live. Mike never paid me for any of my time only the materials(blinds and such). We used our personal steam cleaner to clean the carpets which I was told they were profesionally cleaned before we moved in and the water came out black. All the issues were throughly documented on the move In inspection. Appon moving out, Mike Miller agreed to allow us to use our personal steam cleaner to clean the carpets as they were in bad condition prior to us even moving in and truly needed replaced and not make.is get them profesionally cleaned. 25 days (requieed to be sent before 30 days legally) later Mike send us a letter to impose charges against our security deposit. Going against his word charging us for carpet cleaning, holes in the walls which there were 2 holes from our TV being mounted on the wall(which legally is normal were and tear and is not a clamable fee) cleaning of the kitchen at a charge of $210 (when it was left clean except for the oven which I've never been able to get clean as new anyways) and a few other miscellaneous charges taking almost all of our deposit. All in all nickel and diming me knowing it would cost me more in legal fees than Mike Miller/Harris Reality is worth. PLEASE USE CAUTION WITH DEALING WITH THESE CROOKS. Additionally during our renting the AC went out in the middle of summer. It took them 12 days(as I was told the owner was going through some financial difficulties. NOT MY FAULT) before replacing the AC. The entire 12 days it was 90°+ outside and got as high as 88° inside. It was misrable. I at my own expense had to buy a window AC unit and my entire family lived in the confinnement of the master bedroom with the door shut to keep somewhat cool (a window AC can only do so much). The owner and Mike never provided any compensation for the lack of use to the rest of the house as it was unbearable. After the AC was fixed Mike said the owner felt bad and would give us $150 for our hardship ONLY IF we signed another year lease(we were on the to month). Better to rent somewhere else.
I've been with Harris for almost two years and my experience has been great the people are nice and professional. Lajana is awesome '!!!!!! I'd recommend this agency to anyone looking for a rental company!!!
