Large, shady fun family park. You can walk, bike, picnic, frisbee, etc. Has a duck pond and feeding the ducks is permitted. I will say the park is surrounding by busy streets, its gated but not closed and sometimes parking is limited. You will also see vagrants from time to time. Restaurants, shops and gas station very close.
My dog Honey loves it and that's good enough for me. Plenty of space for her to run and play with the other dogs. Everyone is friendly that I've met there.
The playground is nice and safe. The pond is overgrown with algae ... which is kinda sad to see the ducks living in.. the back of the park has incredible trees and vegetation- amazing photo opportunities. there is a homeless population that resides towards the back of the park which has never bothered me but it would be nice to offer a mobile toilet / shower station of sorts as a few times I've walked up to human feces on the sidewalks in the back of the park- where a mentally ill person has relived themselves. the playground is nice and kids love it...... and it's fenced it! The dog park in the back is also nice! This property is huge so it's pretty diverse!! Also basketball court in back behind jea building!
A nice park in the heart of 5 points. Nice reservoir on the middle with some ducks!
The playground could use a little more shade for the kids and the duck pond could use some cleaning but otherwise it's a nice park. Playground for toddlers and older kids. Benches/seating for parents at the playground. There are also picnic tables. There is no restroom but there are great restaurants in the area (Such as M-Shack) and a 7-Eleven across the street... And a Publix down the road.
