The staff in birds site were rude and mean. It should be a beautiful experience for kids but was instead a nightmare .
I couldn't believe it !
They went back to the other side and kept playing, then a police officer came and told them to leave the site with their family .
Truly enjoy our time out here fishing and enjoying the ocean. They have a family side as well for the little kiddos. I would say about 5.00 to get in with three people in the vehicle
The last time I was there the water was unbelievably clear. I like it because I was able to drive my car not only to the beach but on the beach.
Normally a nice place to take your vehicle out on the beach, but the recent hurricane has cause the park to close. Hope they get it fixed.
The kids didn't do anything at all to the birds they just found themselves on the other side of the area due to the waves that had carried them.
They were not at all patient with the parents or the kids and the woman had allegedly said that the children should have moved many times. The police officer even called two extra cars for backup and it was definitely a waste of resources and taxpayer money since the family was not going against what the officer was saying, they peacefully packed their things and left.
I had never seen an officer dealing with nature and with kids so badly !
The grass was up to my knees, the mosquitos were horrible! However, the fishing was great and 2 sea turtles came to visit us! Loved it!
Two polite kids were carried away by the waves and had landed on the other side of the shore. The lady there told them it was illegal to be there, they apoligized few times and said they didn't see the signs which notified the people that it was against the law to be near there.
