You need a 4 wheel drive to access the beach but there is a parking lot so that you can park and walk otherwise.
No launching of watercraft from the beach. There is a launch on the opposite side of the inlet though.
Great getaway. So close to Jacksonville, yet it feels so private. You can drive on the beach. It has a little of everything for the whole family
The beaches are beautiful, clean and not crowded. Be aware of rip tides and beach rules. Don't leave anything on the beach overnight, or it will be thrown away. That's why the beaches are so clean. There are Many public Access points to the beaches.
I grew up coming out here. It's changed over the years but still great as ever.

Beautiful place to be. Great place to fish, sight see birds and enjoy nature. Bridge fishing, river fishing and surf fishing. 4x4 only on the sand but there is an asphalt parking lot.
