My family loves this park. We can go by ourselves or with the dogs. We absolutely love the trail and the nature vibe. It makes for a great outing.
Neat place to come visit via a small boat. Very small dock and poorly maintained but it leads to a nice boardwalk and walking trail. Might be a bit far to carry in kayaks to launch.
One of the best kids parks in Westside area. Some parents don't tend to their kids, so if you have little-ish kids and don't wanna catch a charge for punching an a hole teenager who won't get off the swings, just kinda hang out with your own little one(s). Great walking path, too
It's a nice park but need to be cleaner. There is no basketball court. The front rest rooms was locked on the weekend evening.
Most excellent, commendations to COJ and Park keeper for this rarity. Hours of beautiful nature trails where wildlife abounds in lush oak/evergreen forests, super long boardwalk over natural river savannah, floating dock, river access for canoes, soccer complex, huge and very well-equipped playgrounds, grills, tables, gazebos, much more... astonishingly well maintained. Most certainly one of Jacksonville's finest treasures.
