We love it because of the tall trees. It is very quiet and close enough to the beach
I enjoyed the stay but the only problem was the bed in the cabin was unstable and broke down on us. I will consider going back to visit.
We stayed here as over flow from the Pelican Roost where we wanted to stay, lots of homesteaders and nothing to see or do.
Nice, family oriented park.
Sits in Mayport Naval Base, but not near the water. All but a couple of the sites are under tree cover, pretty much a full canopy cover. There were only two negatives: first, to get onto a site, you have to go over a high curb and sometimes around trees. Second, the sites weren't maintained very well at all. There was trash scattered around, and the picnic tables were filthy. I'd like to see it cleaned up, as it would be nicer then to stay on base when Osprey Cove is full.
