I arrived at the hospital in a horrible rain storm. Cars on I95 were going 25 mph and many were parked on the shoulder making for hazardous driving. When I finally pulled up to the hospital there was a sign "free valet parking." There was a covered area and off I went to my appointment.
Beautiful new hospital. Caring staff. Best UF hospital I've been in.
As a gardener one of the joys was looking out the window and seeing a beautiful garden spreading out at the same level as the floor I was standing on.
First they tell me one time then call me back and say they mistakenly put wrong time in. Still decided to give them a chance just for them to call and ask for my insurance again. Just to find out they put the wrong insurance in and now all of a sudden they don't take my insurance but on website clearly states they do. I've wasted two weeks waiting to see a doctor here and at this rate nobody will be seen before their child is here.
FYI don't waste your time.
I Star for the Blood Lab. I really did not want to go to their blood lab knowing I was a bit dehydrated and knew the draw would be challenging. The Nurse Practitioner was rather insistent that I use their facility and sent my script there electronically. I always want a to decide where I will go.
Five stars for Dr. Siva and his staff in Cardiology. The place is three years old. and the support was very well trained.
I would like to say that this hospital is the best thing that the north side could have ever gotten.The girls on the 5th floor are the best day shift night shift I can't say anything about them bad these teams are on spot when it comes to taking care of the patent and keeping the rooms clean. The new technology in these rooms I must say makes it so much easier to order your meal on a tablet set your ac on the tablet etc gives the patient more control over there room and food etc. The size of the rooms are nice and large and comfortable nice large tv us rooms nice showers in room. But all in all the staff is what makes the stay comfortable and I feel like I'm in good hands when I'm here,
Entering the lab on the 5th floor the waiting room was filled to overflowing -- with people standing. There was a gross TV show playing at full blast. I asked if they always played that show and was told , "since I've worked here" Today?."
The woman doing the intake forms handed me a form to sign saying that "I had received a particular form. " I had not and asked for it. She said "they are all the same." They are not. She had no idea where the form was. One was brought to me -- I read 4 single spaced pages while she rolled her eyes. It is a form limiting the hospital's liability.
I have been going to this facility since 2015 for doctors visits. It is always very clean inside as well as out. The free valet is also a nice touch. Everyone that I've had contact with has been great (doctors, nurses, assistants, even the reps on the scheduling line). I've only ever had one poor experience with an intake nurse having poor bedside manner (she was probably having a bad day, doesn't everyone from time to time?)... but I brought the matter up to my doctor who was very attentive and ensured that she would have the issue addressed. All in all, I absolutely love going here and would recommend it to others.
