The staff here are wonderful, caring people, from the front desk through the sign out staff. Social worker Jessica DeMoss is tops, and Dr. Balbino takes all the time you need with him.
My sister has been a patient at Age Well, since Oct. 2016. My interview with their social worker, Lauren Madrid put me in a comfort zone; she referred me to someone who helped me place my sister in a facility that was qualified to care for my her needs. Dr. Lance adjusted my sister's medicines and she has really improved. She follows her quarterly now. The ARNP, Ashlee, from Age Well at Home, visits my sister at the facility where she lives and is available for a sick visit or via phone during the week days, if necessary. Dr. Lance, Ashlee and staff are all very compassionate and thorough. I feel like they are caring for my sister as they would care for a member of their family. This has been a God-send for my sister and our family. Thank you Dr. Lance, Ashlee, Lauren and staff.

I was referred to the Age Well Center by my Primary Care Physician to provide extra care for my aunt. In the short time we have been with the Center, I cannot express enough gratitude for the help they have provided. Arranging my aunt's care falls on me and although the lengthy evaluation was exhausting for my aunt (age 94) it provided them with a larger picture of her problems that made the time spent there well worth it. A big weight has been lifted knowing that I now have help with her care. The Center has even assisted me with getting my aunt into the office from the parking lot (an enormous help) which from a safety standpoint is invaluable. The Nurse Practitioner who visits my aunt at her assisted living has been a Godsend. She has diagnosed several problems early on that would have resulted in hospitalization otherwise and treated these problems effectively. She has kept me more than informed about my aunt's problems, needs and care plans and has worked with the staff where she lives to provide solutions for her specific problems. She is kind and caring and understands the needs of the elderly. I cannot thank her enough. A consultation with the on staff Pharmacist resulted in reassurance that there was continuity between the living facility and the doctor and an effort was made by the Nurse Practitioner and the Doctor to find a less expensive alternative for one medication that will make a significant impact financially. I was also able to get a clearer picture regarding finances down the road should my aunt need a higher level of care. They return my calls in a timely manner when I leave messages and the staff is courteous and professional. I have never experienced this approach to elder care, and would highly recommend the Age Well Center to anyone who is caring for a loved one and experiencing the difficult challenges caregivers face dealing with the care of a family member.
