although Dr. Abassi is a great doctor, his office is a disaster and you have to watch your billing
My husband has seen Dr. Abbassi 4 times and each time the doctor has been great and the staff has been terrible. The second time we were there, we waited over 2 hours past his appointment time to be seen. The last time we were was so the doctor could run some tests. My husband forgot to write down the appointment and assumed they would call the day before ( since they have called the past 3 times). When he called to check his appointment, they said it was 2 days ago and he had missed it. When he asked why they didn't call, they told him that sometimes they don't. That would have been good to know before this. The soonest they could get him in was another month away. Waiting to hear about test results is scary but having to wait another month is even worse! While he should have written his appointment down, the staff should be consistent in communication practices. Finally, the staff is always rude!
Dr. Abbassi completed my first endoscopy and colonoscopy in September of last year. I didn't feel a thing. A little mortified about there only being a curtain between me and the next person who came from a procedure (with all the gas passing requests and such), but other than that it was not as bad of an experience as I thought it would be.
I had a billing issue and Stacey was awesome and helped me. My whole experience with this office was great! Will be back in 10 years :)
Dr. Abbasid is both caring and competent. Thanks for helping both me and my wife.
I wish I could give Dr. Abbassi a 5 because he is an amazing doctor! He is knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately, his front desk staff are incompetent!
