Great staff!!! Having said that I brought something to the attention of Publix online 2x's AND a manager a week and a half ago or so concerning a problem in the deli. Even showed him a picture. He said he went to take care of it right then. Guess what??? Hubby bought a cream horn days later and it was not filled. Like maybe a teaspoon. Your cream horns that you dip in chocolate are not filled!!! And I took another picture. This may seem silly to people but when we like a treat once in awhile that's what we buy. You either need to change product or fill them all the way. I'd go to a regular bakery (is there one around here?) but we are there all the time. Please get it together if not for me for the next cream horn lover!
I’ve been standing in line at the deli for about 20 minutes so far and it’s not looking good. The staff seems light hearted and fine with their work output but myself and the others who’ve been waiting in line are growing irritably impatient.
This store is always clean and the store associates are very helpful and polite. I have been shopping here for three years and it consistently meets my expectations.
Won’t be back to this deli.
I have to say I'm very disappointed in this Publix. Today will be my third shopping trip in a row to this location that was less than a pleasure. I shop here regularly. First strike was the deli manager washing dishes while customers waited for extremely slow deli clerks to get orders together. I was in line for 20 minutes for two people in front of me to be serviced. It wasn't even busy they were just really slow and the manager chose to do dishes over help manage the situation. The trip prior the place was dead but still waited in line for over 15 minutes to check out. Then again today one lane open at 4pm for customers with 10 items or more. Publix charges a premium vs their competitors, I assume that is because they have a superior store and service. I used to hold the experience of shopping at Publix in high regard but that feeling is starting to change drastically in a very short period of time.
Spike (in the fish/seafood dept) is very helpful at helping my boyfriend and I select our salmon filets every Sunday. We look forward to his knowledge and good conversation while selecting our filets. He deserves a raise. :)
