Attempted to purchase a car here in Nov of 2015. There was a car priced a little over 6K, as we left to view another lot he said he could do 6K if I buy today. So after a few hours we called and returned to get the car for the price he told us. I asked if I would be able to take it down the street and get it inspected for $20 out of my pocket, he insisted they have a quality mechanic and there are zero issues and I mean insisted. Before we were able to do that he had to call the lot owner to ask for both the price he promised and if we could bring it to get inspected...then he told me he couldn't do 6K, but could do 6,200 - which was his first lie. As we lived out of state and the day was almost over I figured okay, if the car checks out then what's another 200 right? So he goes with us to get it inspected (out of 5 other car lots he is the ONLY one to do this). We drop the car off and return to Ramz Auto to wait for a call. This was the 5th car I had checked out that day at $20 each and the others were all in horrible condition except the first, but it had a salvage title (which I was aiming to avoid). So we get the call and head back and the guy tells me I'd be way better with the first car compared to this one as it needs thousands of work and was barely drive-able. So this man not only lied about the price he could offer and lied their mechanic being the best and the car being worked on, but knowing we had a 2 hour drive that night and 12 hour drive just a few days later was willing to let us drive off in this car which had not been checked or cared for. Ended up getting a car from another location in Jax which had been great ever since and I would say DO NOT SHOP AT RAMZ AUTO.
Buyer Beware. They sold me a car that broke down literally two days after buying it. Bad headgasket. It was over 130,000 miles so the lemon law didn't cover it. I lost my job i lost, the working car i traded them, and almost lost my house because of that.
