The campus is absolutely gorgeous, the students are friendly, and the professors seem excellent. Their tours are more involved, informative, and helpful than any other school I've visited even around the country. They have so much to offer students in terms of education, internships, and just a rich environment in general. It's going to be hard not to quadruple major if/when I attend here. I was very pleased with the experience.
I got my MBA at UNF. I found the business school to be a solid education and relevant to my career. It took me where I wanted to go and opened doors that were previously closed to me. I highly recommend UNF to anyone.
Excellent education! The small classes provide professors the opportunity to really push students to develop critical thinking and writing skills. UNF differs from the gigantic state schools (e.g., UF, FSU) in that you don't just skip classes, take multiple choice tests, and call it a day. Classes at UNF require preparation, essays, presentations, and debate, among other class activities. Professors seek out motivated students to get involved in research, community advocacy and organizations, etc.
As a visitor to this University I can attest to the parking problem. I can see there is not enough space as the friend who I went to campus with told me about the difficulties parking and the ridiculous fines that may be incurred. However, I can also say that the campus is very well kept, buildings appear state of the art, it is not too large of a campus in comparison to universities such as UCF and UF which means having to walk across campus or around campus for classes in the heat due to parking issues or class locations is less severe of a hassle than at larger universities. And the nature trails located on the outskirt of campus in the preserved land are beautiful. I think it's a really nice campus and has a competitive edge for prospective students looking to focus on education and furthering themselves at a university that maybe isn't an enormous sized school (campus or student population).
Great school, but their parking suuucks!! It takes me 15-30 minutes to find parking everyday I go to class, and it aggravates the hell out of me. They need to build more parking lots asap
