Recently replaced one of the pumps on my SPA. He knows what he is doing and offers reasonable prices. Will return your calls--a real bonus. Will use him again.

Normally I do not like to post any sort of negativity. We live in a world with enough already. However, I need to warn all of you about a service provider that has done such a terribly unprofessional job that I would feel horrible if any of you were victimized by him. I called Steve at A1 Spa to have a spa fixed as part of a Real Estate transaction. I had never worked with him before and no other spa service would return my calls that Friday. (It was the week of the Home and Patio Show) After several scheduling snafus he finally got around to the service call to install a new control panel. When he left the spa malfunctioned and was then leaking. After several unsuccessful attempts to get him to return to the property I was forced to call another spa service to take a look at the situation.
I called this location for a simple estimate for hurricane damages to my spa and was treated incredibly rudely. I was polite, professional, and to the point, however, I was treated as if I was wasting the man's time. He must not be hurting for business, because he sure didn't seem interested in getting mine.
I have used A1 spa services several times over the years to fix my hot tub. I have always had a pleasant experience. Steve was always professional and the prices were very reasonable. Great company!
When they arrived they discovered an electrical nightmare. The leaking hose was dripping and splashing on the main power line that had been cut and spliced then wrapped lightly with tape. As a matter of fact all the electrical lines had been spliced and unsafely secured. This resulted in $1800.00 worth of damages and a lucky homeowner that did not get electrocuted in her hot tub by 240 Volts.

If you are ever in need of a Spa service, do not call A1. I would feel terrible if you, your friends, or your clients were ever to have an experience like this one. I will gladly send you to the professional and competent service that stepped in to save the day! I trust you're having a great day!
When I contacted Steve about the issue he was combative and unprofessional on the phone. He went so far as to ask me, "Do you want to meet up so we can handle this like men?" Since that time I have emailed and left several messages in attempts to get this matter resolved. Each time he has either ignored the attempt or responded extremely unprofessionally. Either by negligence or ineptitude his ability to do the simple job was lacking. He has been the most unprofessional person that I have ever had the displeasure of running into under any circumstances.
