I think that john love should do better with their kids and some of the teachers should not be mean to the kids that is why they are the lowest schoo; in yhe dirist world wide i think teachers should not do things mean to the kids because they know that they wont respect you you dont respect them they dont respect you that i guess is how it goes now.So my fellow classmates in third through fifth just make sure that you do good on your FSA.If their is a teacher at john love and they know me well this is just my opinion okay it might not be good but i dont care about that and this goes to Dr.Fountain and Ms.Chandler i love you guez so much that you teach me alot i will do better i will do better thank you for letting me do this broadcast and post it john love is my home town super school
Some of the teachers are good. As far as others the lack of communication is horrible. They let you know about important information at the last min...Had issues about meeting times and teacher would say one thing about our child's grade and it would be another thing on the progress report. Teacher would not communicate back in the planner. The new principal is okay but she could do a better job as well. I am not the only parent that feels this way.
It is now January and I have made several attempts to get this school to send my daughters homework folder and agenda book home. The teacher has excuse after excuse for why she doesn't have time to send the homework home all week but now my 1st graders grades are slipping because of homework and the inability to study spelling and site words because the teacher is too busy to put a folder in a backpack. My daughter, who Ioved preschool and kindergarten and was always ahead academically, now begs me not to send her to the "mean school" after our one year experience in duval county, we decided enough is enough and we will be moving out of florida.
My daughter was very new to this school and they really took great care of her. You guys made sure she was on top of her academics. Awesome school and staff.
