If you are a highly motivated person, you will have great success at Andrew Jackson. I am a graduate of the Class of 1973. I went on to the University of Florida and earned two degrees. I owe my academic success to dedicated teachers at Jackson, Matthew Gilbert and R. L. Brown Elementary, the work values instilled by my parents, support from my eastside community and self-motivation. Yes, we are a product of our environment, but we are given the choice to determine which direction we want to take our lives. I am a proud alum of Andrew Jackson High School!
