Very professional. They are good people. Pay top dollar for your copper, aluminum, and such things. But maybe need to pay a little more for shredd. But overall awesome scrap yard.
CMC has numerous locations, but my only experience is with this one. If their other facilities operate in similar fashion, this is definitely a company I'm interested in investing in. Few companies in any industry today operate with the degree of professionalism I have personally witnessed at CMC on Lane Ave. during the past several years. Their employees are exceptionally kind, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable; it's never a hassle when conducting business with them. I love all their workers, but one employee is particularly noteworthy: Dennis. It's clearly apparent to all that he genuinely cares about his customers. For example, as Dennis promptly processes your material, he's always happy to answer any questions you may have about the metals you wish to sell. In short, CMC is the definitely the best place to go to sell your metals! They pay high prices; their employees are great; it's a clean, safe environment; and it's a fast, hassle-free process! What more could you possibly ask for from any company? CMC is definitely a pleasure!

I've gone to other scrap yards in Jacksonville but I always come back to CMC. As a matter of fact I don't go any where else now but CMC. Yes sometimes the money is a little higher elsewhere but I'll not sacrifice what I have at CMC to go elsewhere, for a few pennies more. Most all the workers are friendly and helpful. This brings to mind a CMC employee named Dennis. He is very knowledgeable of the metals and pricing. I have learned a lot about the different types of metal from him. He will answer any questions you have about re-cycling and if he doesn't know he'll call someone. CMC is also very safety conscience and if there is a problem their office wants to hear about it. CMC is also customer conscience because they are regularly cleaning up random metal debris so our vehicles don't pick up metal in our tires.
