This dept would benefit from serious customer service training, and perhaps for the two I dealt with, a new profession altogether.
So what is the point having a law in place.
(concerning 4th floor, suite 424)
These women were catty, attacking, and outright rude to me.
When the parking enforcement not following the law and supporting Food trucks vs Brick n Mortar businesses Downtown who are the back bone of downtown.
According to management in the parking division. ( Mark Scofield and Nance Albertaon
I have never been so offended.
Two of the four women left to run the 'traffic citation' dept before the holiday break, are the most unprofessional people I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with.
I received a parking ticket for my registration being expired even though I already paid for my registration and was waiting to receive my sticker in the mail. I had to waste my time going here just to show them proof that I already took care of this. Thanks!
I was clearly told that it's up to there discretion who will get a ticket.
Well, that's a great news for all business owners downtown. Apparently not, I was loading and unloading my car yesterday morning and I get $25 ticket. I saw the parking officer and nicely asked him not to ticket my vehicle and explained that I loading up for a delivery. But he gave me a ticket anyway.
I hope they have a Merry Christmas anyway.
I asked Mark that can you please put this in writing he clearly said no.
As a victim of theft, who jumped all the necessary hoops to have an undeserved citation resolved, I was blatantly made to feel like an incompetent liar.
I'm a busines owner in Jacksonville Down town for past 15 years.
So much so, that I paid the citation to avoid having to ever deal with their office again, and I left in tears.
Well I have to say that there are some rules for one and rules for others.
Over the years, I have received several tickets for parking Illegally or parking in No parking zone.( Mainly Parking in no parking zone to load and unload), since there is never any metered parking available.
Lately, there has been a food truck on Monroe street has been parking there for a several months with out any permit. It does not seems to be bothering parking division at all. I am surprised that they have not put clamps on the truck or had it towed. So many people have complained about it, but nothing is being done about it. We were told that they are going to be lenient with the truck because he has business to run.
They are clearly burned out.
