4. Work fast, organized, methodological.

9. If you want anything extra done additional work (change orders) is somewhat reasonably priced.

We would highly recommend Petter to do any type for work for anyone that needs any work done around the house. He installed our laminate floor throughout the house also putting ledger stone on our wall and he also built a custom fireplace just as the picture we showed him. Very clean always cleans up after himself shows up on time everyday. There are not enough good things we can say about him. Would hire him again in a hearbeat

Da Vinci Pro. Construction installed tiles on my balcony and laminate floor in my whole condo in Jan. 2012, and overall did a good job. That's why I called them back in 2013... to get quite disappointed.

2. Professional and courteous communication over email and telephone with Piero's son. Piero does not speak English over the phone, but does OK face-to-face.

They also started a job in Jan. 2013 and never finished it. As soon as the owner and main employee, Piero, walked in, he offered me to give me the tool, so I can demolish my own floor tiles, so he can go work elsewhere. That was totally unacceptable, because I had given them heads up several times about the upcoming project, and every time they've said they'll be there, no problem; and I have taken vacation time off from work. He tore down my kitchen tiles floor on Monday, negotiated not to come to continue on Tuesday, but on Wednesday at 8:00. I took a day off on Wednesday, waited will 10 am, then called them. They claimed that we agreed for Friday. I had someone else finish the job by Friday, and paid DaVinci only for the day he worked.

My wife and I first hired Da Vinci when we bought our house and contracted them to paint the interior. The cut-ins around the crown molding were far from straight, but that wasn't noticed until after they had completed the job. They also got paint on our stair rails. They did clean up after finishing work for the day, but they did make a huge mess when repairing some sheet rock in our kitchen and there was sheet rock compound splattered on our hard wood floors. I called them to come clean it up and they did. During the same job, we had them paint and install beadboard in our kitchen, bathroom and hallway and replace all the base molding and door frames. They did the priming of the wood outside and then installed the trim and beadboard. The only problem was that they didn't sand the wood after priming. When you prime pine the wood grain will stand and needs to be sanded to regain the smooth texture again. They completed the install and painted the trim and beadboard. I asked them to sand the beadboard and they did, but did not repaint the surface. So every piece of trim that was pine also needed to be sanded because it had a rough surface. We also had them repaint our cabinets in the kitchen for an easy makeover. We were told they would spray the cabinets and doors, but when it came time to paint we were told the paint gun was being used on another job. The owner Piero painted the cabinets with a nap roller, not a brush or a foam roller, but one with nap. So now our cabinets have texture. He also only painted the outside of cabinet doors and when questioned about it we were told that we were only quoted to paint the exterior of the cabinets. Common sense would dictate that the interior of the cabinets would not be painted, but the inside of the doors would. I guess they wouldn't look so bad if there wasn't paint splatters on the inside of the doors.

5. Protected the interior.

6. Always cleaned up very well at the end of the day. After carrying the tools out, wiped all the stairs from the 3-rd to the 1-st floor, because the saw cooling water dripped here and there.

8. Quality of work is OK. You gotta watch the guy. He is totally OK with leaving small defects that are out of sight. If you catch it - he may fix it right away, or it may involve some negotiations.

Da Vinci Pro are MUCH MORE than painters. Anyone can throw paint on a wall. But, it takes true experts to match color and have the experience it takes to redecorate your home with paint. Their attention to cleanliness, detail, professionalism and pure talent exceed anything I ever imagined. I have utilized them two times over two years to touch all areas of my home and it's truly a work of art. I recommend them 200%.

I can see how some people may think that they have done good work, but when you really start to look at the detail of the project you will quickly notice that the quality of work is not there. Please take this review to heart when deciding to hire these guys.

Piero works hard, doesn't waste any time, doesn't speak much, but when he does, he has a great sense of humor. Hard worker, but dependability and quality may vary.

1. If he shows up for the day, he is always on time.

7. Used the material very economically, did not waste anything hardly at all.

I learned about this company from the Google. I wanted to replace the carpets from my four bedroom house with laminate floors. I contacted Da Vinci Pro through the company's website and the owner of the business, Alberto, called me back in less than two hours. I explained to him my situation and we set up an appointment for the next day. He showed up at the established time, brought laminate samples with him, explained me the difference between the several options I had, measured my place, gave me a quote, and then let me think about it. I got quotes from several other businesses, but I can tell you that much: nobody could beat Alberto's prices and quality. Great service and great prizing; that is what I got from Da Vinci Pro. I warmly recommend this company to anyone who's interested in flooring. Thanks, Mike

3. Good pricing. Calculated the square footage very precisely, almost exactly the same as my spreadsheet.

If you would like to see their final job they did for us (the pictures speak louder than words), just google "da vinci pro construction" and read the article "when renovations go wrong". Needless to say we had many other professionals come out and look at the work they did and were shocked at how bad it was.
