I attended Blanding Blvd Baptist Church in 2012 while having cancer treatments at The Proton Institute in Jacksonville. I attended every time the doors were open and was welcomed with open arms. I asked the music director about joining the choir and was told that they would gladly accept me in their choir even though they had not known if I could sing parts or not. The music director even told me that considering what I was going through that they would help me with anything that I needed. The pastor was great as well.
I have attended the church several times since then when I am there for checkups. The people are still just as friendly as ever.
One thing I can say about this church, so far I haven't heard 1 negative remark towards anyone, or any thing, and that is the gospel truth. Well maybe 1 thing, my wife did tell me that she was cold one time, but I didn't say anything because I like it cold.I know. I'm terrible. Putting the joking aside, I thank God for our church, it's hard to find loving church.We should tell God every day how grateful we are for what we have here at our church. And, I need to make one more remark.That it's also a wonderful thing we have a preacher that tells it like it is. Thank you pastor. From my family,and my church family. God Bless
Terrible church youth pastor and his wife drove church bus with their three children other kids picked on their children the youth pastor just finished preaching for teen church he deliberately cursed even his five year old daughter his wife was crude and highly disrespectful he pulled over on the side of ffamily dollar on blanding to curse me out him and his wife over his children I have never met or spoken too highly despicable me being raised in a church setting my whole life just embrassing never attend this crappy church they are not welcoming , preaching from a. Book not of the holy bible ungodly people the past is very prejudice as well most attenders are prodimently white most seem bothered by us going there as well I've been going there four months faithfully no one even knows my name that's terrible . If your looking for a fun multicultural church Builders of The Faith is definitely for you .
