This place seems to condone rape culture with drinks called, "Statuatory Grape", "Alabama Slam Her", and the worst one "Lay Down and Shut Up". Don't they know the bar business is all about impressing female clientele. Where there are women, men will follow. I don't know what kind of human being would think this is amusing but I won't be back. Create a safer space for women.
I went there about 2 weeks ago andit was great very laid back bar with good music. And plenty of pool tables i liked the way they did the "new to me wrap around bar" NICE!!!
I travel allot for business, but try to get back to Jacksonville when I can. I first went to Rack'em Up Billiards about 9 months ago, and have been back around 6 times since then. The staff is engaging or not depending on how you respond, very clear on the pool table rates, specials, etc. and overall nice people. I had a friends fries one night - which were good, but overall I can't speak to the food that much. I grew up in IL and spent allot of time in pool bars/halls, the table price isn't bad really and the cross section of customers is nice to me..tables have decent felt and they provided ques are not too shabby..I enjoy coming here when in town and have the free time.
Place was a has a awesome atmosphere. Really chill, they werr doing karaoke the night I stopped in and lots of people participating. Drinks are cold, around 10 full size pool tables, with very cute waitress serving your drinks. Has a full bar and some regular tables if you just want to kick back.
Great place for billiards. Half price on Saturdays. They have a D.J. some nights. Kind of loud in that situation.
