This place has a great selection of spirits, aperitifs, bitters, etc, in a locally owned and operated business with a knowledgeable staff. You can buy by the bottle to take home, or sit at the bar and order an expertly crafted cocktail. In the evenings, a surprise awaits you behind the bookcase at the end of the room.

Nice venue. I went with people to have a few drinks and enjoy some live jazz. The evening would have been really nice if there was a decent sound system. The jazz singer was singing her heart out but you could not hear her. All you could hear was the drums, the bass and the keyboard. I have no idea what the singer was saying or how good she was. It was almost comical because the emotion laden facial expressions and gesticulations of the singer were not accompanied by a matching voice but by wanting silence. It was like watching TV during an important scene with the volume off. I spoke to them twice about the soumd but they did nothing to improve it.
Bartenders are friendly and well skilled in what they do. Would recommend stopping in if you are in town.
The atmosphere is nice with live music, but the place is super hipster. They don't make basic cocktails because they focus more on craft coctails, which was a bit disappointing.
