Where the locals hang out and where a lot of drugs get handed off under tables. Seedy vibe but cool people. This is kind of the default choice for the Jacksonville counterculture. Of course there’s always something odd going on right outside to entertain you.
Not really a place i would choose to go to again. Nothing it necessarily wrong or bad about it, it's just not the kind of bar i normally like to frequent. Very loud, music as well as other people, also pretty crowded. Standing room only inside especially during peak hours. I'm more of a dive or lounge kinda guy, but if loud close quarters is what you're looking for, you'll no doubt have a much better time. I will say their decor is decent and they have a solid bar selection.
ALWAYS PACKED TO THE BRIM. other than that, great place to go and get a drink.
Very popular place apparently. They seem to embrace pop culture which is a bit of a barf for me. But my double whiskey coke was a dollar cheeper than the bar next door. And i got a phone number from a hardcore chick. So solid 4 stars.
Decent bar/club if you just want a quick drink but the DJ's are hit or miss and a little cramped on peak nights. Better place to chill during a less busy weeknight.
